Sold: Compromis 999 strong, well equipped and comfortable sailing yacht with spacious interior
The Compromis 999 is a sailing yacht designed by Frans Maas according to criteria such as; good sailing characteristics, calm and dry in sea conditions, predictable rudder character, safe working on deck and below deck sufficient living space for 6 adults with luggage. In short, the Compromis is a strong and comfortable yacht for long vacations on open water. The wide gangways and anti-slip provide safe conditions for working on deck. All halyards and sheets can also be operated from the cockpit. This Compromis is equipped with the high mast of 12m and will sail higher upwind than the version with a short mast. With the max. draft of 1.50 m, most inland waters will also be within range. From the position behind the steering wheel you have direct view of the navigation equipment and compass. This Compromis is equipped with a Vetus bow thruster, which makes maneuvering on engine power with a small crew easier. The large sprayhood provides protection against the elements and the cockpit cover provides extra comfort during a longer stay in the marina.
The high freeboard combined with the low cabin roof ensure a spacious interior with headroom of 1.95m. With the layout of the interior and various handles, the means were provided for a stay below deck during sailing. The round seating with ergonomically shaped benches offer plenty and comfortable seating space. The handy swivel chair offers a solid seat when navigating at the chart table. The galley is well equipped with 3-burner stove and oven, sink with running water, cool box and pull out pantry cupboard. The galley is also designed for cooking under rough sea conditions and is well equipped with handrails and swing edges. The Heads is equipped with a hand pump toilet, sink and mirror cabinet and has a access door to the cockpit locker. The Heads also has sufficient free space to move around with headroom of 1.85m. In the private front cabin is a V-bed and in the aft cabin a spacious double bed with comfortable mattress, seating and lots of closet space. The berths have a length of 2.25m. The owner has installed a new Isothemp boiler, which still needs to be connected.
