Sold: Altena 1250 AK steel motorcruiser, sturdy and neat condition, lots of space and comfort
General: The Altena cruiser is a spacious motor yacht, both inside and on deck. The raised aft deck is covered with a bimini and a pleasant place to sit with family and friends. Here is also a second helm with a comfortable skipper chair. The gangways are wide enough to allow easy passage to the front deck. On the foredeck is a manual windlass. Fittings such as the stainless steel railing and bolsters etc. are of decent quality. The DAF 6-cylinder diesel engine dates from 1995. An electric bow thruster was installed in 2020 and makes maneuvering easier. Furthermore, the propeller shaft with the seal and bearings were renewed in 2021 and the gearbox was reconditioned.
Interior: The interior makes a very spacious impression due to the open forepeak. The wheelhouse has a helm, a comfortable sitting area and TV. Located in the forepeak are a dining corner and galley, with two beds in the front. The dining seat can also be converted into a double berth. An electric boiler supplies the galley with hot water. The geyser in the bathroom is out of order, so there is only cold running water here. The aft cabin has a double bed and plenty of cupboard space. The woodwork is in a well-kept condition.
