General: The Bavaria 38 is a comfortable cruiser sailing yacht with easy handling and practical to use. This yacht is suitable for both the solo sailor as well as a a large family. The experience of the yacht builder is reflected in the high-quality construction method (German Lloyds) and selected parts. The Bavaria 38 is seaworthy with CE A category and also sails well in inland waters with a draft of 1.70m. The cockpit is spacious with comfortable seats and the view from the helm to the front is excellent. All lines of the furling genoa and the furling mainsail can be operated from the cockpit. The furling mainsail can be reefed to any desired size. The large sprayhood provides good shelter and navigation instruments such as log, depth and anemometer are placed next to the companionway entrance. This Bavaria 38 is in a well-kept condition.
Interior: The interior is light, classy and modern due to the use of mahogany wood and white finish. Both the windows and ventilation hatches throughout the ship can be opened and offer optimal ventilation. The layout is very practical, with a navigation corner on the starboard side next to the companionway entrance. The two aft cabins each have a double bed and sufficient closet space. The Heads has a sink with hand shower and a the manual pump toilet. The boiler provides hot water for the Heads and galley. The longitudinal galley is fully equipped with double sink, gimballed gas stove and oven, fridge and a microwave. While sailing, the cook can brace himself against the sofa in the seating area. The seating area has comfortable sofas and various cupboards for storage space. In the forepeak is a private cabin with large V-bed and ample storage space..
