Sold: Contessa 32 Classic Cruiser-Racer, seaworthy, well-equipped with comfortable interior
General: The Contessa 32 is an iconic Cruiser-Racer that is still used for racing today. Solidly built under Lloyds supervision with excellent sailing characteristics, suitable for sailing on inland waters as well as at sea. This Contessa is fully equipped and in a good state of maintenance. The sail quiver consists of Hood dacron furling mainsail, Hood dacron furling genoa and a Spinnaker. The headsails are operated from the cockpit with 4 Andersen ST sheet winches. The double compass, log, depth and anemometer are easy to read from the tiller. The navigation equipment also includes an autopilot, AIS, GPS, Navtex and VHF radio. The cockpit tent increases the living space during a longer stay in the marina. The Beta Marine 20 hp diesel engine was newly installed in 2012.
Interior: The interior is practically furnished and fully equipped, with a comfortable seating corner, settee, ample cupboard space and headroom of approximately 1.80 m. The galley has a gimbaled gas stove with oven, sink, cold running water and a cool box without compressor. To starboard is a chart table with switch panel and various equipment. The seat of the chard table extends into the quarterberth. The forepeak can be closed with a sliding door. Here is a v-bed with two berths, a vacuum hand pump toilet on port side and a deep hanging closet on starboard side. There is also a Webasto hot air heating system.
