This beautiful and unique sailing yacht with a steel hull was built by De Vries Lentsch shipyard ‘t Fort. The ketch/cutter rigging offers many trim options. Both the genoa and the cutter jib are furling. The deck is spacious and fitted with teak. The mainsail is hoisted at the mast, with grab rails around the mast for safety. There is an electric windlass on the foredeck to hoist the anchor. The sheltered cockpit is spacious with seating under the fixed spray hood. To operate the headsails, various sheet winches have been placed on the cockpit coaming, plus a traveler for mainsheet trim. The steering position is centrally located in the cockpit with the mizzen mast. The cockpit can be completely covered with a cockpit tent. Under the fixed spray hood is a Joystick steering, navigation equipment and space for sea charts. There are davits on the transom for carrying a dinghy. The deck equipment is sturdy, with splendid wooden accents and chromed airvents. From 2021, the current owner has renewed a number of parts, such as; the cockpit tent, the sails, the Dickinson diesel heater, the bottom rigging, glass of the portholes, the stove and the service batteries. The powerful Steyr 212 hp diesel engine was installed in 2000 and was fully serviced in 2023. This yachts is equipped for long voyages at sea and suitable to stay on board comfortably for a long period of time.
The interior has a luxurious appearance thanks to the splendid varnished woodwork and sofas with leather upholstery. The U-shaped galley is located at starboard directly next to the companionway entrance, with gimbal stove, cool box, storage space, double sink and even an extractor hood. On PS there is a cabin with a bed, which can be closed with a sliding door. Access from the galley to the saloon is via a double door. The backrest of the saloon sofa can be folded up to create a spacious berth. Thanks to the skylight and a series of portholes, sufficient light is coming in. There is also a sturdy wooden folding table and handy cabinet for tableware. Thanks to the double doors, the heat from the Dickinson diesel heater stays inside. The private front cabin has a double bed on SB and a single berth on PS. Between the beds is a bench with leather upholstery and small dressing table. Between the salon and the front cabin on SB there is a heads, with toilet, sink and shower. Opposite the heads there is a spacious closet on PS.
