Dehler 34

Sold: Dehler 34 Cruiser racer fully equipped with tidy, attractive and comfortable interior

General: The Dehler 34 is a well-established cruiser racer design. The current 2nd owner had a new battened CDX Polyester Cruising Laminate sail from Quantum Sails fitted in 2011. The Lazybag with Lazyjacks ensures optimal convenience of stowing the mainsail. With the High Aspect self tacking jib, the crew does not have to perform any actions when turning the boat. For the Genoa II, the sheets are led back via the rail to the cockpit. Both Headsails are reefed with the Furlex roller reef installation. All lines are operated from the cockpit and the traveler for trimming the main sheet is placed directly in front of the steering position. Next to the cabin entrance are the log, wind and depthmeters, clearly visible from the steering position with steering wheel and compass. The integrated autopilot takes over control on longer voyages. Winch handles to operate the four Lewmar ST winches are neatly stowed in the holders against the cockpit benches, so they do not wonder around the cockpit. The deck is equipped with anti-slip, in good condition and recently painted.

Interior: The interior is tidy in the characteristic Dehler style with attractive teak paneling. On the starboard side is the navigation corner with chart table and standard folding seat. Furthermore, GPS, VHF radio, Navtex, Radio / CD player and various 220V connection points have been installed here. On port side is a well-equipped galley, with double sink, compressor coolbox and a gimballed 3-burner gas stove with oven. The saloon has comfortable long benches with a central folding table, with various cupboards under the gangways. The door to the private front cabin has handy storage compartments on the inside and a V-bed for two persons. The aft cabin also offers spacious berths for two persons with a topper for extra sleeping comfort. The Heads is equipped with a hand pump toilet and washbasin, here again with storage compartments on the inside of the door. The Yanmar diesel engine is neatly stowd behind the companionway stairss and easily accessible. The bilge is easily accessible for inspection of the keel bolts. The entire yacht looks well cared for and is ready to sail with a owner.
