Sold: Dufour 30 Classic compact sailing yacht with modern equipment and comfortable interior
General: The Dufour 30 Classic is a sailing yacht with well-balanced sailing characteristics, making it an ideal boat for, for example, novice sailors with a young family. Modern techniques have been used in the construction and the construction is well thought out and solid. The Dufour is also easy to sail with a small crew. The keel with bulb provides good stability. The skipper can operate both tiller and mainsheet well. All lines are led to the cockpit and arrive at two selftailing winches on the cabin roof. The cockpit has good seats and the navigation equipment is placed under the sprayhood. The mainsail falls between the lazy jacks when lowering and can be stored in a handy lazybag. The genoa is rolled in and out with the furler. The modern hull shape with a low cabin roof give the Dufour 30 Classic a timeless appearance. The deck is equipped with anti-slip and freedom of movement for sailhandling is good.
Interior: The combination of white inner shell and splendid woodwork give the interior a fresh appearance. The sofas have a nice seat with a folding table in the center of the saloon. The upholstery has been renewed in 2019. Because the forepeak is open, the interior looks very spacious. The V-bed offers two sleeping berths. Next to the cabin entrance on the port side is a fully equipped galley, with stainless steel sink, gimballed stove, cool box and a original Dufour set of plates, bowls and cutlery. Behind the galley is a private aft cabin with double bed, mattress and closet. Ventilation through hatches and portholes is optimal. To starboard is a chart table with seat, here is also a VHF and the switch panel. Behind the chart table is a Heads with pump toilet and sink. A Webasto hot air heater provides comfort on cold days. The Dufour 30 is perfectly suited for weekend trips or to spend a holiday on board.
