Hanse 400e

Hanse 400e, a modern performance cruiser, with a stylish yet comfortable interior. The hull of this “e” version is built in Epoxy, which makes it lighter and more resistant to water ingress or osmosis. The Hanse 400e is equipped with retractable bow – and stern thruster making life very easy when maneuvering by engine power. The cockpit is spacious and equipped with high quality deck hardware, including Harken self-tailing winches and Spinlock stoppers. The electric Harken 40 AST winch enables a small crew to raise the mainsail quickly and with little effort. The self-tacking jib is shifting on a rail. At the large steering wheel the binnacle is fitted with all necessary equipment, including Simrad log, depth sounder, windmeter, autopilot, GPS plotter and controls for the Sidepower Bow – and Stern thrusters. The cockpit can be covered with the Bimini.

The interior is very spacious with three cabins; V-bed in the forecabin with 18cm thick mattress and slatted frame, private aft cabins each sleeps two. The spacious saloon has a U-shaped seating with a table that can be transformed into an extra berth for 2 persons. Two heads with Jabsco manual toilet, sink, cabinets and mirror. The aft head has a separate shower. Opposite the seating area is the navigation area with two opposing seats. Here the control panel is located with instruments and navigation equipment. The L-shaped galley is equipped with all necessary equipment including a refrigerator with front – and top loading doors and gimbaled oven with two-burner stove.
