Sold: Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 43 Cruiser sailing yacht with stylish interior and fully equipped
General: The Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 43 is a modern cruiser sailing yacht with a well-designed layout and equipment. With CE category A this sailing yacht is very seaworthy and the limited draft of 1.80 m gives access to most inland waterways as well. The cockpit is designed in such a way that there is a free passage from front to back. From the double helm the overview is optimal, with log / depth meter and compass at both helm positions. Controls of the bow thruster and autopilot are together with the engine panel and gas handle fitted at the starboard helm position. The chart plotter with AIS is attached centrally to the cockpit table pedestal. The deck fittings are of high quality with six Harken ST winches, four for the sheets and two for the halyards. All lines are led back to the stoppers on the cabin roof and can be operated from the cockpit. Anchoring is easy with the electric anchor winch. This sailing yacht has always been in private ownership. In the spring of 2019, the hull was polished and the underwater hull was applied with new antifouling.
Interior: The interior is fitted with stylish teak and has a spacious layout. On the starboard side there is a U-shaped dinette with an L-shaped galley behind it, including a double sink, a double compressor top loader fridge and a gimballed gas stove with oven. The owner’s cabin in the front has a spacious double bed, dressing table, various cupboards, seat and an en-suite heads. The two cabins in the back each offer two spacious sleeping berths, of which the PS cabin has its own access to the (second) heads with toilet, sink and shower. Furthermore, the PS hut has comfortable Neptune mattresses for a good night sleep. A boiler supplies the entire ship with hot water. The navigation corner on the port side is well equipped with meters and navigation equipment, such as VHF and radar. With the Raymarine remote control, course corrections can be made from inside. There is an extra settee on the PS. The dinette’s centrally situated bench can be stowed away under the table.
