The construction is robust and the laminated lead keel guarantees a high degree of stability. This Nicholson 35 is a very nice specimen and visibly well maintained. The Mitsubishi Craftsman 27hp diesel engine was newly installed in 2014, the batteries are also of high quality and recent year. The deep cockpit with sprayhood offers a safe and sheltered place for the crew. The teak in the cockpit is in very good condition. The traveler for mainsheet trim is located directly in front of the helm with two Lewmar ST sheet winches on the cockpit coaming. The electric bow thruster controls is on the skippers SB side, with furthermore the compass, depthmeter and built-in autopilot. The mainsail (2018) is hoisted at the mast with two-speed Lewmar winches. The genoa with UV strip is operated with the furler. An extra work- and storm jib can be raised on the forestay. For convenience a manual anchor winch with double anchor locker are placed on the foredeck. The Nicholson has been on the hard during the winter period and new antifouling has been applied to the hull spring 2019.

The seating area offers comfortable seating at the folding table in the saloon. The settee on PS can be converted into a double bed. The bench on SB can be widened and used with a lee-cloth as an extra berth on night crossings. The V-bed in the front cabin offers two berths. The pump toilet (PS) and the sink with hand shower (SB) are located between the saloon and the forward cabin. These spaces can be seperated with sliding doors. The Eberspacher hot air heating provides comfort on cold days. There are various handles in the cabin, which is very practical during sailing.
