Sold: Nienke 3 sturdy and stable steel motorsailer, drying out possible, spacious interior
The Nienke 3 is a robust steel motorsailer with steering position inside and outside. From the outside helm on the aft deck you have a good view to the front over the wheelhouse. The cutter rigging consists of a mainsail, furling genoa with boom jib. The Nienke 3 has a box keel with bilge keels, which makes her very suitable for drying out on the sands. The Yanmar 4-cylinder diesel engine provides powerful propulsion. The Nienke 3 was surveyed in 2020 and the current 2nd owner has addressed the defects and maintenance points. The mast with stays has also been renewed. A new electric bow thruster was installed in 2021, which makes maneuvering in port easier. Engine maintenance was done in 2022 and also the hull was painted in that year. New antifouling was applied on the underwater hull in the spring of 2023.
The entrance to the wheelhouse consists of a staircase with a large sliding hatch. Solar panels are mounted on the sliding hatch, which recharge the batteries. In the wheelhouse is a steering position with equipment and a bench. The private aft cabin has a double bed with a bench and cupboard space. The cabin has a settee, galley, bench seat and a chart table. The salon is wide with good headroom. There are two bunks in the front cabin. Between the cabin and forward cabin on starboard side is the heads with toilet and sink. On the port side is locker. The Nienke 3 is spacious enough to accommodate 4 people for a longer period of time.
