General: The design of the Versatility Kotter 31 is derived from a fishing vessel, with a characteristic high bow and round bilge resulting in good sailing characteristics. The boat has an open aft cockpit with splendid teak covered with a Bimini. There is a helm position both inside and outside. The aft cockpit is on equal level with the wheelhouse, creating a pleasant walk through. The current owners have recently had a number of renovations made, including the Permateak on the foredeck and walkways, the bimini, the toilet, Luxaflex blinds, the depth sounder and electric bow thruster. The Versatility Kotter is a unique motor yacht and with excellent equipment.
Interior: The wheelhouse has a settee with table next to the steering position. At the helm inside you will find various equipment, such as two VHF radios, depth sounder, compass and GPS. The Lehman diesel engine is placed under the wheelhouse and easily accessible through various hatches, maintenance is done annually by the yard. The batteries are recharged by the solar panels. The forepeak provides a cozy living space, of which the dinette can be used as an extra sleeping place. Here is also a galley with sink and gas stove, Heatpol diesel heater and various handy storage options. The woodwork is very nice, headroom is good with 2.00m in the wheelhouse and 1.85m in the forepeak. The Heads has a (new) hand pump toilet. The V-bed with infill piece provides two comfortable berths.
